This bio will be updated when I remember or have reason to do so.

I doubt anyone is even reading this, as most of my flist has had me friended forever. But this is just a few paragraphs to kind of explain some of the changes that have been going on with me and my journal.

First, let me say I love all you, my online friends, and the times I have spent with you - in the VM4 and LJ and elsewhere. But, as you know, doing the internet thing takes a lot of time, and over the last year or so I have become more and more involved in Real Life and less and less online.

This is a good thing! As I am once again becoming who I really am and participating in life instead of observing and letting it pass me by. But it also means I miss out on being around here.

This is NOT a "farewell, Eljay" message! I still plan to be around and check in with my flist and even make posts of my own. It just is going to be limited. Permanently.

I don't want to lose contact with you, so, if you haven't seen me around or just want to talk, please IM or email me directly. I actually tend to have more time to do that periodically than to stop and get caught up on comments and posts.

Rarely anything here is friendslocked because a) I rarely say anything I wouldn't say publicly b) I'm very careful about being private about my RL identity c) I forget to do it.
